ABOUT
Izz Nabil is an aspiring music producer. He applies every skill learnt from his course into his own projects.
He works hard to produce quality music but he believes that he can learn better from professional and well-renowned music producers
who are capable of producing quality music. He uses Ableton as his main DAW and records in his bedroom.
He is able to produce short videos to promote his own music online.
He is capable of placing and editing sounds appropriately into videos much like a sound designer. On the other hand, he is also interested in working in a live sound environment.
He believes that there is no limit in learning and there is always room for improvements.

Sound Design - Honkai Impact
From the anime - Honkai Impact - fighting scene. Every sound effects used was creatively designed to fit the visuals of the video. All sounds were downloaded from RP's sfx library.
I separated the sounds into 3 different stems - Voicelines, SFX and Music.

Short Film (Together We Are Stronger)
A 2 minute short film done for one of my modules - Single Camera Production. This was filmed together with 2 of my friends over 3 different locations - Republic Polytechnic campus, a house and a park.
This film is about Rosey, a girl who faces severe social-anxiety and have no friends. She always ignores her family whenever they want to talk to her. One day, her classmate Romie, went to talk to her. She was nervous to talk to him initially but gradually became comfortable having him as a friend. She eventually apologized for her selfish behaviour to her father.

Short Skit
This was my very first time editing a video. This 2 minute video was edited on iMovie. Although it was not the best video editing software, its simplicity allowed me to understand how a basic video editing software works which then led me to edit videos on Adobe Premiere Pro for other projects.

Music Video (Forever N Ever)
A personal project I did over the holidays of 2021. I had been composing a song during my free time and decided, 'why not make a song and a video together, just to gauge my capabilities'. So I decided to go hang out with my friend and filmed the day together. Everything was filmed on my iPhone 11. I would then go on to edit the video on Final Cut Pro over the weekend and uploaded it on YouTube.

Project 1 -
My first official project with vocals added. This project meant a lot to me because
it signified the start of my musical aspiration as a music producer/artist. There were
many adjustments made to this song before it finally came to this version. I especially experimented using a vocoder for the vocals.
Project 2 -
This song was written in context of a nostalgic environment which meant a lot to
me too. I also sampled another song at the start and used that song as reference.
I admired the structure of the song which played a huge role in inspiring me to
make this song. I used a midi guitar because I had no guitar of my own.
Project 3 -
This was written in context of a friend who saw a pretty girl on his way to school
and I decided to use his encounter as an idea for this song.

Project 4 -
This song is a remake of the original. I wanted to experiment the layering of
several vocals to make it sound like a choir. I added in sound effects in the
background recorded in my room.
Project 5 -
This song was generally made using the vocoder as I was inspired by a Youtuber
Who used a robotic type voice for his song. I enjoyed writing this in a ‘robot’s
perspective’. The vocoder was heavily used in this project.
Project 6 -
I progressed forward and decided to write a full song with a typical song structure
of 2 verses, 3 choruses and a bridge. I wanted to experiment how a full and filled
song would sound like and made this.
I made a video for this song too for fun using Final Cut Pro.
